Easy Recipe!

The recipe for Peaches and Cream Popsicles is so easy! You can make a batch in just 10 minutes -- maybe less! Start with four medium-large peaches. Rinse them, cut them in half and remove the pit. Leave the skin on for extra nutrition. You won't even notice it's there, but you'll get health benefits and stronger color.

Milk or Cream?

Next it's time to throw everything in the blender! That's right: the peaches (with skins), milk or cream, orange juice, sugar and vanilla. Turn on the blender and let the mixture puree to a smooth consistency. That's it! Using milk will give you an icier pop with fewer calories. If you want a creamy texture, like an ice cream bar, use cream. You could even go somewhere in-between the two and use a cup of half and half.

Popsicle Molds

Pour your peach mixture into popsicle molds. Tap the mold a bit to remove any air bubbles. To freeze, place your mold on a tray or metal pan to keep them level. Then let the popsicles freeze at least four hours or over night. You can remove the popsicles from the molds by running warm water over the molds for just a few seconds, then gently removing them by the sticks. We like to use these silicon popsicle molds from Amazon. They hold about 3.2 ounces each and have a nice slot to keep your sticks in place.

No popsicle mold, no problem. A cup tastes just as good!

If you don't have molds, no worries, you can pour the peach smoothie into small paper cups. Let them freeze about an hour, then add the sticks. Adding the sticks when the pops are partially frozen, will help the sticks stay in place. Once your Peaches and Cream Popsicles are out of the mold, wrap them in plastic wrap or put wax paper between them to keep from sticking. Then re-freeze until ready to serve.
